Jets Recall Heinola from Moose

The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team recalled defenceman Ville Heinola from the Manitoba Moose.
Heinola, 21, has 10 assists in 13 games with the Moose this season. The Honkajoki, Finland product sits third on the team in scoring among defencemen and paces the club with a plus-15 rating. Heinola has 48 points (9G, 39A) in 76 AHL contests, all with the Moose, in his career. The defender has appeared in 27 NHL games with the Jets, tallying 10 points (1G, 9A). Heinola posted five assists in 12 games with Winnipeg during the 2021-22 campaign.
Heinola was a first round pick (20th overall) of the Jets in the 2019 NHL Draft.
