Holm Makes Trip to NHL, Moose Recall Cormier

The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team recalled goaltender Arvid Holm from the Manitoba Moose on an emergency basis. The Moose also announced the team recalled goaltender Evan Cormier from the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings.

Holm, 24, features a 7-3-2 record in 12 AHL appearances this season. The Ljungby, Sweden product has a 2.55 goals-against average and .923 save percentage on the campaign. In his past five starts, Holm has a 4-1-0 record supported by a 1.93 goals-against average and .934 save percentage. A sixth round pick of the Winnipeg Jets in the 2017 NHL Draft, Holm has 19-13-4 record in 36 AHL appearances with a 2.79 goals-against average and .895 save percentage.

Holm was reassigned to the Moose, Dec. 21 after backing up David Rittich during the Jets' 5-1 win over Ottawa the night before.

Cormier, 25, has suited up in 14 games for Kalamazoo this season. He holds a 5-8-1 record with a 3.00 goals-against average and .908 save percentage. Cormier has also recorded one shutout. The Bowmanville, Ont. native played 14 games for Manitoba in 2021-22 while recording an 8-3-3 mark with a 2.72 goals-against average and .905 save percentage. He also tallied one shutout on the campaign. Over the course of 51 career AHL games with Manitoba and Binghamton, the netminder has a 18-24-8 record with a 3.15 goals-against average and .895 save percentage.
