The Winnipeg Jets announced today defenceman Johnathan Kovacevic was reassigned to the Manitoba Moose.
Kovacevic, 24, has appeared in four games with the Jets this season, making his NHL debut on Jan. 27 against the Vancouver Canucks. Kovacevic recorded seven shots on goal and a plus-one rating in his four NHL contests. The Grimsby, Ont. product has 14 points (7G, 7A) in 33 games with the Moose this season. That mark matches a career high and his seven goals lead Moose defencemen while sitting tied for fourth among AHL blueliners.
Kovacevic and the Moose face off against the Milwaukee Admirals for a trio of games on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. Sunday's game is Mikhail Berdin Bobblehead Day while the holiday-Monday features Super Hero Day. Due to recent changes in public health orders, capacity limits for upcoming games are no longer restricted. Tickets are available at MooseHockey.com/TICKETS.
