Jets Reassign Samberg and Suess to Moose

The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team assigned defenceman Dylan Samberg and forward C.J. Suess to the Moose.
Samberg, 23, has five assists in 16 games with the Moose this season. The defender recorded two assists in six games with the Winnipeg Jets. Samberg made his NHL debut on Jan. 13, posting an assist in a 3-0 Jets win in Detroit. The Hermantown, Minn. product has 48 total AHL games to his credit while tallying 12 points (1G, 11A) in his career. Samberg was a second round pick, 43rd overall, of the Jets in the 2017 NHL Draft.
Suess, 27, has 12 points (4G, 8A) in 23 games with the Moose on the campaign. The 2014 fifth round pick appeared in three games with the Jets this season. Suess has 67 points (35G, 32A) in 143 career AHL games, all with the Moose. The Forest Lake, Minn. product finished second on the Moose with 14 goals during the 2019-20 campaign.
The Moose host the Rockford Ice Hogs this week for games on Thursday (7 p.m.) and Saturday (2 p.m.) at Canada Life Centre. Saturday's game is the Autism Acceptance game in support of St.Amant. Tickets for both contests are available at MooseHockey.com/TICKETS.
