Jets Recall Barron

The Winnipeg Jets announce today that they have recalled forward Morgan Barron from the Moose on an emergency basis.

Barron, 23, has split the first half of the 2021-22 season between the Rangers and their AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack, and has one assist and four penalty minutes in 13 NHL games. The forward was traded as part of the Andrew Copp deal and has since played five games with the Moose where he has recorded two points (1G, 1A).

Barron turned professional last year after three seasons with Cornell University. Barron has totalled 38 points (20G, 18A) in 51 AHL games split between the Wolf Pack and Moose.

The Moose clash with the Toronto Marlies on Friday, April 1. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT at Canada Life Centre. Tickets to all Moose home games are available at MooseHockey.com/TICKETS.
